So this is my first chords, let me know what you guys think, I would love some
feedback if you guys are having success with this. The strumming pattern is
simple once you get it down: xoxx oxxx, where an "x" is a strum and an "o" is a
skip. Do this twice with each new chord change in the verses, and do it once for
each chord in the chorus starting with the "Fadd9" on "Sure are some proud
girls." As soon as the last "cowgirls" is sang in the chorus go immediately back
to the strum pattern twice for each Chord. When you get to the Bridge, one down
strum suffices for each chord, then right back into the chorus. Also you start
singing on the first "Fadd9" chord is slightly different from the
regular "Fadd9". It should look like this: ---
                                             -1-
                                             -2-
                                             -3-
                                             -3-
                                             -x-
High "e" string is open, the low "E" string is not played. Hope that's clear.
Good luck, happy playing!
Capo 4
Intro: Fadd9 C Fadd9 C
Fadd9 C
I felt the rush of the Rio Grande into Yellowstone
                         Fadd9
And I've seen first-hand Niagra Falls
C
And the lights of Vegas
Fadd9
I've criss-crossed down to Key Biscayane
    C
And Chi-town via Bangor, Maine
Fadd9
Think I've seen it all
C
And all I can say is

Chorus:
C Fadd9
How 'bout them cowgirls
C
Boys ain't they somthin'
           Fadd9 Em
Sure are some proud girls
          Fadd9 Em
And you can't tell 'em nothin'
                   F Em
And I tell you right now girls
C Em F EmG G
May just be seven wonders of this big, old round world
Let "G" Ring Fadd9
But how 'bout them cowgirls
C Fadd9 C

Verse 2
Fadd9
She's ridin' colts in Steamboat Springs
C
Bailing hay outside Abilene
Fadd9
She's tryin' hard
C
To fit in in some city
Fadd9
But her home is 'neath that big, blue sky
C Fadd9
And the Northern Plains and those other wide open spaces
C
Now days there ain't as many

Chorus

C Fadd9
How 'bout them cowgirls
C
Boys ain't they somthin'
             Fadd9Em
Sure are some proud girls
          Fadd9 Em
And you can't tell 'em nothin'

And I tell you right now girls
C Em F EmG G
May just be seven wonders of this big, old round world
Let "G" Ring Fadd9
But how 'bout them cowgirls

         Fadd9 C
Boy, she don't need you and she don't need me
        Fadd9 C
She can do just fine on her own two feet
        F Em G
But she wants a man who wants her to be herself
            Fadd9 C
And she'll never change, don't know how to hide
     Fadd9 C
Her stubborn will or her fightin' side
         F Em G
But you treat her right and she'll love you like no one else

Chorus
C Fadd9
Yeah, how 'bout them cowgirls
C
Boys ain't they somethin'
              Fadd9Em
Sure are some proud girls
          Fadd9 Em
But you can't beat their lovin'
                       F Em
And I'll tell you right now girls
C Em F EmG G
May just be seven wonders of this big, old round world
Let "G" Ring Fadd9 C Em F Em G
But how 'bout them cowgirls

How 'bout 'em boys
